More about the Festive costume from Senja
It was Senja Bondekvinnelag that started the work on the costume for Senja. They asked for ideas from all who were interested, and the first result was shown on a meeting May 26 1978. The colours used is either brown bodice and skirt or green bodice with brown skirt.
The edge of the skirt has embroideries of flowers.
